Our community

General Taxation Services believes in supporting and giving back to our local community and, in particular, those individuals and families whom are less fortunate. This is why we have created a sports scholarship program for underprivileged children. This program enables kids to learn about teamwork, recognise and understand discipline and, most importantly, gain self-esteem – all aspects of which are valuable in the transition to their adult lives.

Graham Robinson – Principal –
With over 25 years’ experience in the Accounting profession, Graham is the Principal at General Taxation Services. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, a Registered SMSF Auditor, Registered ASIC Agent and Registered Tax Agent.  Graham has developed a specialised skill-set and provides taxation, accounting, auditing and business services to his clients.  With continued support from his competent and highly motivated team, his firm has grown into a successful, dynamic, client-focused practice. 

Michael Wilson – Senior Accountant –
Michael is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Registered Tax Agent who brings a broad range of knowledge to his clients at GTS.  With 10 years’ experience, Michael has been able to fully explore his strengths and interests; in turn, allowing him to work closely with individuals and small-to-medium sized business clients.  Michael has the required skill-set to provide quality income tax, financial reporting and business services to his clients. With a great level of insight and expertise, Michael’s comprehensive knowledge of indirect taxes is also highly valued by clients.

Candice Redmond – Accountant 
A skilled professional and qualified accountant, Candice has worked in various small-to-medium sized accounting firms, as well as in commerce for corporate entities.  This varied experience of business means Candice is well placed to help clients understand their financial affairs and above-all increase their profitability. Her commitment and passion allows her to provide an excellent level of personal service to our varied client base.  From compliance work to business and tax consulting, Candice enjoys helping her clients achieve their goals.

Carmen Turner – Bookkeeper
With over 20 years’ experience, Carmen is our resident bookkeeper and assistant accountant.  Her working knowledge of MYOB is notable and her meticulous attention to detail is too.  She is driven to deliver accurate, timely and substantiated information and solutions to our clients.  Carmen is passionate about anticipating clients’ needs and providing top quality service.

Samantha Holder – Practice Manager –
A switched-on administrator, Sam plays a vital role in the business, ensuring all operations continue in a smooth, efficient and error-free manner.  She assists our team of accountants by liaising with all statutory authorities and works to resolve all administration matters for clients. 

Nicola Carroll – Administration Assistant –
Coming from a background of customer service, Nikki’s commitment to clients is beyond reproach.  Her friendly and helpful attitude is highly valued and her professionalism is unwavering.   Nikki’s vivacious personality and tireless energy is a great asset to the GTS team!

Mark Stephens – Accountant –
Mark brings the valuable blend of commercial experience having worked for public companies as well as directly with SME owners and managers in financial controller roles.  As well as assisting with tax compliance, with significant “hands on” experience in actual business, Mark understands and can help with problem areas such as business planning, performance reporting, inventory issues, importing and foreign exchange management, credit management and personnel/HR issues.
